Pack your pooch, too!

Dogs can enjoy a festive stay with you too, at a cost of £20.00 per pooch, per night (up to two well-behaved dogs in selected rooms). Dog stays must be pre-booked. Please call us on 0118 984 2244 to request a dog-friendly room when you make your booking. Unfortunately, if you arrive having packed a pup without booking, we may not be able to accommodate you.

All pups will receive a Hound Bag tote filled with useful accessories for their stay, including a tennis ball, poo bags, dog treats and a walking map featuring routes local to the hotel.

Festive Stay with Christmas Day Lunch

24 December – Christmas Eve

Arrive from 15:00 to a warm welcome and a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy in the bar or your room.
After settling into your boutique bedroom, enjoy a three-course Christmas Eve dinner in The Herd restaurant.

25 December – Christmas Day

Wake to a hearty Full English Breakfast.
After some well-earned R&R, it’s time for the main event of the day: a sumptuous Christmas Day Lunch.
In the evening we’ll provide you with a picnic-style meal of cold meats and cheeses plus a bottle of house wine, to enjoy in our public areas or back in your room.

26 December – Boxing Day

Enjoy a leisurely Full English Breakfast.
Fond farewells, with check out at 11:00.

Non-refundable deposit of 20% is required on booking.
You can cancel/modify your reservation up to 72 hours prior to check-in time (15.00), but note that the 20% deposit is strictly non-refundable.
A penalty of the entire stay including tax will be charged for late cancellation/modification (with less than 72 hours notice prior to check-in time (15.00), or no-show and early departure.
Balance to be paid at the property.
Full payment required at time of check-in.
Credit card number with valid expiry date and security code is required as security on check in to guarantee your reservation.
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
All packages are offered subject to availability.
Package includes a two-night B&B stay with a Full English Breakfast each morning; on Christmas Eve, one bottle of Prosecco for two on arrival and a three-course dinner; Christmas Day, Christmas Day Lunch and a picnic style evening meal with one bottle of house wine.
Any additional costs incurred will be charged separately and added to your room account, which must be settled prior to departure.
Dogs must be booked in advance to ensure that an appropriate dog-friendly room can be allocated.
Dogs will be charged separately at the standard daily dog stay fee applicable on the dates of the stay.
Most dog-friendly rooms accommodate a maximum of two dogs.
We recommend that you take out appropriate levels of travel insurance to cover your costs in the event of you needing to cancel your booking.
